There is something special about playing in a charity Golf tournament. Oh, sure, they usually take five or six hours to complete. And most of the players spend more time searching for their ball than they do whacking the dimples off it.

Golf Notebook: Weehunt makes double eagle count (Houston Chronicle)

Michael Weehunt had a shot to remember last month. Weehunt, an assistant Golf professional at Pine Forest Country Club, had a double eagle in the West Houston Ryder Cup Matches at The Club at Falcon Point. A former golfer at Hardin-Simmons, Weehunt, 22, needed only two shots on the 518-yard, par-5 12th hole. He used driver, and holed out with a 4-iron from 210 yards.
