Golf Notebook: Weehunt makes double eagle count (Houston Chronicle)

Michael Weehunt had a shot to remember last month. Weehunt, an assistant Golf professional at Pine Forest Country Club, had a double eagle in the West Houston Ryder Cup Matches at The Club at Falcon Point. A former golfer at Hardin-Simmons, Weehunt, 22, needed only two shots on the 518-yard, par-5 12th hole. He used driver, and holed out with a 4-iron from 210 yards.
